Future Soldiers – What Can You Bring To Basic Training?

The most commonly asked questions recruits ask today is “What Can You Bring to Basic Training?” There are several things you can pack up for boot camp but you don’t want to forget these items such as running shoes, a cell phone, stationery supplies, a debit card, cash and also civilian clothes. After all, you want to have the best experience as possible with the least amount of problems in basic training. Here are some of the few things your allowed to take with you to boot camp.

Running shoes. You can bring your own running shoes to basic. You can bring your running shoes (tennis shoes) but it’ll be up to your drill sergeants on whether they’ll let you wear them or not. Some drill sergeants will make you buy the shoes that they sell at reception. It depends on where you go to training and some drill sergeants let Soldiers wear their own shoes and they didn’t have to buy them.

Cell Phones. You can bring your own cell phone but it’ll be up to the drill sergeant’s decision if you’ll receive any phone privileges (cell phone or phone booth). You can keep your cell phone during reception but once you’re at basic then you’ll have to hand them over to the drill sergeants. You will not get them back until you start white phase or every other Sundays.

Stationary Supplies. You can take your own stationery supplies such as paper, envelopes and stamps or you can buy them while you are at basic training. You have the freedom to write letters every night and have it sent out to a family or friend every day. You will have to do 10 push ups for every letter that you receive during mail call which is worth it.

Debit Card. It is highly recommended that you bring your own debit card tied to your account. You will have to resupply later for personal hygiene’s and to withdraw money from the ATM to pay for haircuts at the PX. Some things are not free in training and you’ll have to reach into your pocket sometimes to pay for the basics such as a haircut or if you want to buy a class yearbook.

Address book. Bring an address book listing your family members and next to kin. It’s very important to have a mailing address of someone so that you can send letters and add them to your life insurance, emergency contact and beneficiary when you in-process during the reception battalion.

Cash. Bring a few extra dollars but not more than $50 dollars. You may never know what might happen during your journey to boot camp. You might need to get a cab or buy something to eat.

Civilian Clothes. Bring the clothes on your back because on the first day you arrive to the reception battalion, the Army will issue you a lot of uniforms and gear. You will wear your PT’s or ACU uniform. You are not allowed to wear your civilian clothes anymore and you must dress according to the uniform of that day.

How to Jelq – Proper Jelqing Instructions That Will Give You Results

Jelqing is an ancient Arabic tradition used by men in Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Syria and the Malawi provinces of Turkey for over 5000 years. This process is used to increase the size of the penis both in a flaccid state as well as an erect state. Proper use of this technique can lead to a heavier and more substantial looking limp member and a much longer, thicker, stronger one when erect. For hundreds of generations the intricacies of this technique have been passed from father to son. How to Jelq properly is considered in these countries an essential skill of adulthood.

The process of Jelqing is a simple one in principle but it should never be undertaken without instruction. It is important for safety and comfort that you learn how to Jelq properly. However, in the United States, where the idea of Jelqing has recently gained popularity, it is not easy to find reliable resources on how to Jelq. This can be problematic for those interested in learning as improper use of Jelqing techniques can be very uncomfortable, counter-productive to desired results and possibly to lead to injury or serious damage.

When learning it is important to understand that it should not be performed when you are more than 80% erect, however you should maintain at least 50% erection throughout the process. If you want to gain girth, make sure you are closer to the 80% side of hardness; for length, stay on the limper side of the scale. This can sometimes be difficult for those just learning how to Jelq.

The Basic Idea

The process of Jelqing is very simple in its most basic concept. First, a warm cloth is wrapped lightly around the genitalia to relax them and make them loose. After several minutes with the cloth in place it is removed and a firm stretching of the member should be done along with a soft kneading. This should be done for 30-60 seconds then finally the “milking” can begin. Using a good lubricant to avoid unnecessary friction, make an OK sign with your thumb and forefinger and slowly push up to force more blood into the penile tissues. When you reach the head, repeat the procedure with your other hand.

Each movement should take no less than 3 seconds and no more than 5 seconds. You should do this procedure for 5-10 minutes, stopping if you get a full erection. You must try not to ejaculate either; this procedure can be repeated up to three times in an hour with a calming period between procedures during which the warm cloth is again wrapped around your genitals. Make sure you stretch again before starting a new milking process. You should also end with the cloth and stretching process as well. This is often overlooked by those learning how to Jelq.

Make Sure You Learn Properly

You must learn how to Jelq correctly. Jelqing has been shown to be highly effective for increasing the size of the penis but without proper instruction such as pictures, videos or guides it can be dangerous and could ruin you as a man. It is important to find a reputable Jelqing program to learn how to Jelq to ensure you attain your goals safely.

Naked Yoga for Autofellatio and Autocunnilingus – Joining Ancient Practices With Modern Science

Naked Yoga is a form of erotic Yoga that originally implied that the participants would perform Yoga sans clothing. This type of Yoga was presented in a “class” structure, not unlike other forms of the art, where numerous people would perform their positions in the nude.

This artistic endeavor became most noticeable in the 1960s with the “flower power” movement; at this time, too, an interest in “naturism,” or nudist camps, also became increasing popular in the Western world.

This was the second time that Yogic practices became popular in the West. The first time was in the 1920s and 1930s and was of major interest and exploration to the occultists. Not so much for the exercise/stretching forms of the art, but more for occult-power enhancement and enlightenment through meditation. To this day, one of the best books on the subject is from Aleister Crowley entitled, Eight Lectures on Yoga, from 1939. It is an especially interesting book for the beginner, as it simplifies many of the concepts and procedures. For example, this is the only example I have seen, in book form, that acknowledges that people can use a chair for meditation. This approach is clearly helpful for men and women who have spinal problems which would shy them away from typical Yogic postures due to pain. Many of Crowley’s other manuscripts deal with other forms of this art form, too.

Now the third resurgence of these ancient practices has, once again, crept into the West. Places to practice Yoga seem to be popping up all over the place these days. Everything from Power-Yoga to Naked-Yoga to just about anything that strikes your interest. The “naked” form seems to have become more popular than ever before, with people all over the Western world taking part in these gatherings of self-expressive nudity, exercise, and relaxation.

This leads us to autofellatio and autocunnilingus, as they are inevitable extensions of Yogic practice. It’s doubtful that any Yogi has failed to ponder the possibility of self-sex through oral stimulation of his own penis (auto-fellatio) or oral stimulation of her own vulva (auto-cunnilingus). Nor have people who have witnessed these extensive, seemingly near-impossible, and highly exotic body positions, failed to wonder if these forms of auto-sexuality could, indeed, be performed.

The answer to the curious on-looker, is that these forms of stretches can certainly help men and women perform these intimate sexual acts. Not only that, but other technical applications, using modern-day physical therapeutics and understanding proper stretching techniques and procedures, can help people more than ever before accomplish these wondrous abilities. Thanks to modern science and ancient practices, people now have the opportunity to explore this form of self-gratification much easier than the generations before them.

Canvas Paintings For Home Decor

Canvas paintings give people tasteful options for filling their empty walls and hallways. Aside from adding color and texture, a painting can also speak much about the personality of the homeowner. It does not have to be too expensive to be able to be considered fine art. The more important thing is that the homeowner appreciates it and understands it.

The first thing to consider is where it is to be placed. It is obvious that a different kind of painting is more suitable for every room. It would be a good step to envision a painting in a room before deciding to purchase one. The size of the painting should coincide with the space allotted for it. For instance, it would not be a good idea to put up a huge painting in such a small space. It would lead to making the room look more cramped. Likewise, the color theme of the painting should also be considered. The overall color palette used in the specific room intended for the painting should accommodate the colors in the painting. Unless the work of art is intended to be used as an accent, the colors should not be too far from the color concept of that room.

More importantly, the specific style the room has should be complemented by the selected canvas paintings. For instance, it is very common for modern style to have neutral walls in shades of cream, white and grays. The canvas paintings can take the role of being the accent pieces in the walls. This means that against those neutral walls, paintings with bases such as reds and oranges would really stand out. At the same time, homes with a modern style need to stick to clean cut designs meaning the paintings should tone down on the curves and flourishes and stick to jagged lines and geometric shapes.

Child Development – Babyhood

Characteristics of babyhood: (From 2 weeks to 2 years)

i) Babyhood is the true foundation age. At this time, many behavior patterns, attitudes and emotional expressions are established. It is a critical period in setting the pattern for personal and emotional adjustments.

ii) Babyhood is an age of rapid growth and development. Babies grow rapidly both physically and psychologically. Changes are rapid in appearance (height and weight) and capacities. The limbs develop in better proportion to the large head. Intellectual growth and change are parallel to physical growth and change.

iii) Ability grows to recognize and respond to people and objects in the environment. The baby is able to understand many things and communicate its needs and wants.

iv) The babyhood is an age of decreasing dependency. The baby begins to do things to itself. With decrease of dependency, a rebellion against being treated as baby. A protest takes protest comes in the form of angry outbursts and crying when independence is denied.

v) It is an age of high individuality which can be realized in appearance and in patterns of behavior.

vi) Babyhood is the beginning of Creativity, sex role and socialization for adjustment in future life.

vii) Babyhood is a hazardous period. The physical hazards are illness, accidents, disabilities and death. Psychological hazards are disinterests and negative attitudes

Emotional behavior in babyhood:

i) At birth, the emotions appear in simple and undifferentiated forms. In babyhood, the emotions are differentiated and they are aroused by a number of stimuli. There are two distinct types of emotions.

ii) There is much difference with the behavior of adolescents and adults and often from those of older children.

iii) Emotions are more easily conditioned during babyhood than at latter stage. This is due to the reason that the intellectual abilities of babies are limited. They respond easily and quickly to stimuli. Anyhow there is hesitation to respond in some cases.

Development in socialization:

Early social experiences play a dominant role in determining the baby’s future social relationships and patterns of behavior towards others. Since the baby’s life is centered around home, it is here that the foundations for later behavior and attitudes are laid. There is no evidence that people are social or antisocial by inheritance but on their social experience gained during babyhood. Also, making a change in the pattern of behavior that has become habitual is never easy. Nor is there any guaranty that the change will be complete. That is why good social foundations are so important during the babyhood years.

At birth, infants are not gregarious in nature in the sense that there is no difference to them who attend to their physical needs. During the first year of the babyhood, babies are in a state of equilibrium which makes them friendly, easy to handle and pleasant to be with. Around the middle of second year, the equilibrium is tilted making the baby fussy, non cooperative, and difficult to handle. However, equilibrium is restored so that the babies begin to exhibit again pleasant and social behavior.

Are Big Tents Too Big For Two People to Camp In?

It’s that time of the year again, when the weather is nearly perfect for camping. It is always great to get out in nature and enjoy all of the regular camping activities like hiking or boating or roasting marshmallows over the open fire. But before you head out the door, you need to make sure that you have all of the camping gear you need. The one piece of gear that you need more than anything else is a tent. Big tents are very popular right now, but are they too big for two people to camp in?

Not many years ago, if you went out to a campground, all you would see are small 3 or 4 man tents. Today, it everyone is sleeping in a little nylon mansion. What’s the deal with these huge tents? The reason they have become so popular is that it is just plain more comfortable to camp out in a larger tent. You have plenty of space to move around. You can keep all of your gear inside so that it doesn’t get rained on or animals don’t get into it. If there is electricity at the campsite, you also have room for a fan or a small heater in the tent.

Big tents are not too big for two people to camp in. In fact, I would hesitate to put more than four people in a big tent because having the extra room is so nice. A good rule of thumb is to bring a tent made for twice as many people as you will be camping with. A 4 man tent is great for 2 people while an 8 man tent is great for 4 people.

The Fundamentals of Asphalt Shingles

Shingles come in numerous constructions, designs, colors, and sizes. They are specifically manufactured for sloping roof systems of at least a 4:12 pitch (4 inch vertical rise over a 12 inch horizontal run), and can be found in a variety of materials. The most common include asphalt, clay or concrete tile, slate, wood, and metal.

Although there is a generous selection of roof shingles to choose from, for more than a century, asphalt (bitumen) roof shingles have proven to be the most prominent and popular choice to this day. Not only are they cost-effective and easy to install, they are durable, long-lasting, and require little maintenance. They also come in countless colors and styles, making it simple to achieve a customized look on a budget.

Continue reading to learn the basic facts about asphalt roof shingles, and why they are a fantastic choice for sloped roofs.

Construction

The two most common types of construction for bitumen shingles are fiberglass and organic mat-based shingles. Both may have an asphalt saturated organic substrate made from cellulose fibers (such as wood or paper), or they can have a fiberglass-based substrate. Fiberglass shingles are highly durable, lightweight, and thin. They also have longer warranties and higher fire ratings in comparison to alternative organic materials. Organic mat-based shingles have 40% more bitumen content than fiberglass versions, which makes them thicker and heavier. They are also a bit more expensive, but they are malleable, strong, and can withstand more damage overtime.

Design Options

The most common design options are 3-tab strip shingle and laminated dimensional shingle. The 3-tab version has cutouts or tabs along the bottom edge, giving it the appearance of 3 shingles instead of one. It is the most common and cost-effective shingle design option. The laminated dimensional shingle is a more textured and architectural approach. It is a premium product with multiple layers of bitumen laminated tabs, giving it a layered and dimensional look.

Color Options

Asphalt shingles come in a variety of color families. Any color or hue can be matched to a property with ease since the collection of colors has expanded overtime. Roofing companies generally retain innovative technology that allows property owners to choose colors more accurately. This allows clients to experiment with different colors in order to find the perfect one.

Environmentally-Friendly Options

With increasing innovations in the roofing industry, homeowners can now opt for an eco-friendly approach to shingle installation. There is a new product of asphalt shingle that uses cool-roof technology, which reduces the amount of heat shingles absorb from the sun. This greener option is cost-effective since it decreases the amount of AC you use in the summer!

Roof Repair and Maintenance

Although durable, bitumen shingles are still prone to damage. But as long as your roof system is properly ventilated at all times and inspected by a professional company on an annual basis, you can expect great performance and value from them.

Home Decor – Family With Dogs

We were finally ready for a dog in our home. We researched different breeds to match our lifestyle. We both wanted a big dog with a gentle disposition, and, as we looked through the pictures of the different breeds, one caught our attention. Bernese Mountain Dogs are beautiful, big and sweet-natured. This was what our new “baby” was to be! After meeting with the breeder, and a bit of a wait, we brought home our little fella, Dante.

We were very happy to have a vinyl kitchen floor during potty training. Although he was quick to learn, he was after all a puppy. Vinyl floors are durable and very easy to keep clean. This was also a blessing because Dante had no idea how to wipe his feet during the rainy summer days.

We also learned that baby gates were not just for human babies. Because the rest of the house had mostly carpeting, we felt a gate was just what was needed. This saved on a lot of extra carpet cleaning, which is not my favorite chore.

For the first several months I wondered why everyone talked so much about this breed shedding so much. I hadn’t noticed much at all. Well, as our cute little fluff ball grew, and he gained about ten pounds a month, I began to notice a little change in that situation. Little by little there began to be little fluffy tumbleweeds in the corners of his domain. Soon the little fluffy fur balls were requiring daily broom attention. Eventually it became obvious that a vacuum was the only way to keep those floating clouds of fur from outrunning my broom. First I tried a little cleaning upright vacuum. Just charge it up and go! Only I found that I could empty the canister several times before I was done and the charge was gone before the fur was.

Well, if that little upright was not working out for me, I decided to move on to my old faithful canister vacuum that had disposable bags and an electric cord. It was great! There was no recharging mid-job, the bag could hold all the fur that puppy of ours could shed. I still had to make use of it daily, but it worked like a charm. Dante didn’t mind the noise, and didn’t chew the cord. He didn’t even seem to wonder where his fur was going. I didn’t mind his shedding since I had figured out an effective remedy for the flying fur. Somewhere in the back of my mind I may have thought “What was it they said about going through a vacuum every year or two?”

Make a Small Room Look Larger With Art Wall Decals

If you have a small place there is no reason to stare at plain white walls. Decorating the walls in a smaller living space is often challenging but makes all the difference when creating a cozy space. No matter how small the room is, if it is warm and inviting, it will make friends and family feel right at home. Here are a few tips to make a room look larger with art wall decals.

Choose the right pattern or theme to create the illusion of a bigger space. There are literally a multitude of themes and designs to choose from when decorating the walls in your place. Choose light-colored backgrounds that match with colors in your decals to coordinate the room colors. For example, nature designs with earth colors of green and brown would look good on a wall painted in tan or butterscotch. Match accessory colors to accent colors in the design to complete the look.

Keep the space open by careful furniture placement. Placing furniture in an open design makes a room look bigger. A simple couch and chair in a matching solid color with an accent rug or small table makes a cozy living area for sitting and relaxing with friends.

Choose a pattern or design of art wall decals to match the color and furnishings of the room. Some people like a nature theme with trees and or a modern Art Deco look with odd shapes or bold designs. Large patterns are fine with minimal furnishings and can become the focal point of the room. Place a couple of lovely decorative mirrors where they will reflect the wall scenes to make it appear as if the scene continues into another room adding to the illusion of more space.

Additional decorating tips:

Let functional spaces do double duty if possible. A bookshelf placed in a corner can double as a place to store small trinkets and knick-knacks without cluttering up the space. The right light fixtures can add depth to a room when placed close to a mirror or other reflective surface, the brighter the light the larger the room looks.

Reasons to decorate with decals:

· Decals are not only stylish and attractive, but create a look that is all your own.

· Economical way to decorate because the designs can be removed when you decide it’s time for a change.

· Create a focal point to draw attention away from problem areas such as uneven walls or oddly-shaped corners.

Wall decorations such as decals, stickers or stencils make a space unique and express the owner’s personal style. They are suitable for just about any room in your home, from bedroom to kitchen; decals are a great way to decorate the way you like. Even if your landlord will not let you paint, there is no reason to have boring white walls when art wall decals are so easy to use and remove when you move to a new place.

The Difference Between Industrial, Retail and Commercial Real Estate

Before we answer this question, it might be helpful to actually define each term first.

Retail and industrial are both considered ‘commercial real estate’ (as opposed to ‘residential real estate’). Commercial real estate refers to buildings or land intended to generate profit; industrial and retail are simply sub-categories of commercial real estate.

Firstly an industrial property is defined as a property used for the actual manufacturing of something, and can be considered either a factory or plant. This is usually zoned for light, medium or heavy industry. This includes things such as warehouses, garages and distribution centers etc.

Retail property is a commercially zoned property used solely for business purposes, the actual selling of the product, rather than its manufacture – retail stores, malls, shopping centers and shops all huddling nicely under the retail umbrella.

Generally, businesses that occupy commercial real estate often lease the space. An investor usually owns the building and collects rent from each business that operates there.

There are four primary types of commercial real estate leases, each requiring different levels of responsibility from the landlord and the tenant.

Single net lease – tenant is responsible for paying rent and property taxes.

Double net lease – tenant is responsible for paying rent, property taxes and insurance.

Triple net lease – tenant is responsible for paying rent, property taxes, insurance and maintenance.

Gross lease – tenant is responsible only for rent; the Landlord pays property taxes, insurance and maintenance.

If you find yourself considering Commercial property ownership, there are a few things that you would do well to keep in mind:

1) Attractive appearance – the last thing you need is a vacant commercial property in Sydney for any length of time. Think how prospective tenants think: what will their customers want to see?

2) Aesthetic entrance – first impressions count, simple, simple stuff. This is a great tool for putting your prospective clients in a great frame of mind… and their clients.

3) Natural Light – in especially high demand nowadays

4) Location – close to other offices, public amenities, transportation etc.

Since 1980, retail property has returned an average of 9%, though is currently returning around 6%. Industrial real estate tends to be the most volatile, and is currently returning around 7% (as opposed to its peak of around 12% during the 1990’s recession).

And obviously, no matter which form of commercial property you’re considering, read the lease carefully. Sounds like a silly thing to say, but you’d be very surprised at the issues that can become issues simply because things weren’t read properly!
